An active transportation and road expansion project serving northwest Winnipeg.
The Dr. Jose-Rizal Way Twinning is an active transportation and road expansion project. Lombard North Group’s role was to enhance the experience of the active transportation participant by leading the placement and layout of separated active transportation facilities along Dr. Jose-Rizal Way. Considerations for future public transit stop upgrades, tree soil volumes / utility conflicts, snow storage, and lane width reductions were also part of LNG’s design influence. Preparation of presentation materials was done to help aid discussions and inform key decision makers.
