The purpose of the work undertaken by Lombard North Group was to assess and respond to the active recreational needs and desires of the Churchill Community and provide a Master Plan that would aid the Churchill Town Council in developing a network of community trails.
The intent of the Master Plan was to provide an opportunity to reconnect the Town of Churchill with its internal and external landscape to create a new identity; expressing its unique sense of place through the creation of a memorable and functional active transportation network that integrated history, landscape, and nature in a safe and functional manner for its citizens and for visitors to Churchill.
