Infill subdivision featuring a 12-acre naturalized riverbank park, reconstructed native grassland, and climax forest species.
Completed in 2013, Van Hull Estates is an infill subdivision within Winnipeg’s desirable south end. The neighbourhood’s design successfully integrates 200 residential units within the existing green space, street, and pedestrian network of the surrounding community. Van Hull Estates features a 12-acre naturalized riverbank parkland design that connects Van Hull Estates and Normand Park residents to the Red River, while providing a multifunctional open space within a re-constructed native grassland, climax forest species, and relict willow hedgerows.
