Chris has a Bachelor of Science (Geology) and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Manitoba. In July 2009, Chris returned to Winnipeg to join Lombard North Group as Senior Landscape Architect and Manager of Design. He is currently involved in several projects including the design of Waterford Green, a new mixed-use residential subdivision in northwest Winnipeg; the design and construction supervision of new parklands in Van Hull Estates in South Winnipeg; and the landscape architecture and site design of several residential projects in the Capital Region. He also participated in the design and planning of a new community in Kemerovo, Russia, the design and construction of new athletic fields for the City of Winnipeg and Seven Oaks School Division, the landscape design and contract administration of all landscape architecture for Waterford Green, the planning and design of a Community Campus Plan for the Town of Niverville, several new housing and park design projects, and new fitness trails for the City of Winnipeg.
Prior to joining Lombard North Group, Chris spent the majority of his professional career employed at Thomas McBroom Associates Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario. As project architect at the firm, he was involved in the design and construction of over 50 completed new golf course projects throughout Canada, Scandinavia, and the Caribbean, with 12 of these courses ranked in the top 100 golf courses in Canada. Many of these projects have received awards from major golf course industry publications.
