Nefeli is a graduate of the Masters of Landscape Architecture program, and Bachelors in Environmental Design program at the University of Manitoba. She excels at inter-disciplinary collaboration involving landscape architects, planners, engineers, architects and clients, large scale neighbourhood design, landscape architectural design, drawings.
Having a passion for Landscape Archaeology, Nefeli has worked in archaeological excavations illustrating finds, site surveying, and producing architectural drawings for the archaeological sites of Ancient Nemea and Mycenae in Greece. Her graduate practicum examined the role of Landscape Architecture in archaeological conservation, restoration and presentation of archaeological sites, as well as how landscape architectural interventions could improve visitor experience at the site of Mycenae.
During her studies at the University of Manitoba, Nefeli worked spent 4 years as a teaching assistant, and grader for courses such as “Design Studio” and “Construction Materials and Assemblies.” She has previous professional experience in Industrial Design, creating products ranging from interior furniture for the home or businesses, to exterior furnishing for parks, stadiums, and other public spaces. Using her keen eye for details Nefeli created new designs, manipulated current designs, prepared sales drawings for customers, as well as produced the necessary drawings needed for the manufacturing of products.
